PNPs and Express Entry to propel Canadian immigration

Canadian immigration will be propelled by the Provincial Nominee Programs and the federal Express Entry program. The combined admissions for these 2 pathways are projected to reach 160,100 fresh PR holders by 2021.

Express Entry manages the high skilled economic immigration programs of Canada. PNPs manage the highly skilled immigration programs of the provinces. These are now all set to play immensely vital roles in the Canadian immigration strategy for the next 3 years.

The total immigration targets for these 2 renowned pathways are projected to increase over the next 3 years. Their immigration levels intakes have been announced last week. The increase of 23% over their total targets of 2018 with 129, 900 has been announced, as quoted by the CIC News.

Express Entry manages the 3 high skilled immigration programs of Canada. These are the Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class, and the Federal Skilled Worker Class. The Provincial Nominee Program along with Express Entry will account for 44% of the 1.3 million fresh PR immigrants. These are scheduled to arrive in Canada in the period 2018 and 2021.
